Lowercase letters:

Numbers:
1 through 10 (# and spelling)
Red Words (sight words):
a, I, is, to, the, you, the, my, because
Concepts/Ideas/Definitions that need to be remembered:
Author: An author is the person who writes the words in the story.
Illustrator: An illustrator is the person who draws or paints the pictures in the story.
Character: A character is a person or animal involved in the story.
Setting: The setting is where the story takes place.
Rhyming words: Rhyming words are words that have the same ending sounds.
